Steel School of Irish Dance
The Steel School of Irish Dance was founded in 1981 by Carol Del Bianco in Vancouver, British Columbia, and has since expanded to hold classes all over the Lower Mainland. Its goal is to promote Irish heritage through continuing to teach Irish dance to the future generations. From a small group of less than 20 dancers, the school is now home to over 100 students! Dancers at Steel School range in age from 4 to adult and classes range in level from beginner through championship. Since the school opened, dancers have competed and been successful at the Regional, National and International level.
